Moore County is one of Tennessee smallest but most widely known counties at 170 Square miles and containing the largest Portion of Tims For Lake and Dam. Lynchburg is the County seat and home to the World Famous Jack Daniels Distillery the oldest register Whiskey Maker in the United States of America. Lynchburg is home to some of more famous events in the State the Jack Daniels World Barbecue Championship, Frontier Days and a Annual Motorcycle weekend event.
Franklin County is about 500 square miles and lies in the foot hills and North face of the Cumberland Plateau and Monteagle Mountain. Winchester City is the Conunty seat. The UTSI Space Institute is located on the East edge of Franklin County and on the same Government Property as AEDC which is also home to Woods Reservoir. Woods is a primary resource for water and the Arnlod testing site and home to the Wood Lake Ski Club.
Tims Ford is primarily a local electricity and recreation resource while Normandy is a home water resource. The Elk Valley River Supplies Tims with it’s water and is considered one of the top fishing rivers in the State of Tennessee.
