I played college football for 6 years
and could not coach youth football effectively and felt
stupid. I could not substitute, get lined up or teach decent
team concepts. I looked for help online and knew I was not
the only one.
Once I got some things down I put them online
free and then added my secret team practice and game
techniques that really helped me.
Another year
2007. Second place. 2 losses 5 wins. 2 losses the gift of a last second
td pass and a kick return.
I should have called my 52 lose for 2 deep and line up 10 yards deep
defense. I choked.
Kicked to their best
guy on the outside second line and he raced up field fast
untouched. A coach told me to kick from right hash to left deep
and get some tacklers on the left hash so you can cover in the
extra time it takes for the ball to go all the way across the
field. Hum? Sounds smart to me. Use it. I will. Best when you
have a good deep kicker.
