new good credit here I got one of
these myself. Look for reports to bureaus!
-
I must have 3 three open lines of credit
-
They must all be reported to a bureau for at
least 1 one year
-
It takes 1 one year for new credit to help my score.
Getting good credit started takes open lines of
credit that are at least 1 year old. I like credit cards for these
first time credit issues.
-
I get scammed if I get a new credit card that does not report to a bureau.

Card- Best card to help really bad credit. You WILL be APPROVED and
reported to bureaus for good credit but you have to deposit funds to
overcome the really bad credit. AKA secured credit card.
One of the hardest things in the world is getting approved or
getting new credit when I have no rated credit on my credit report.
-
Good current and rated
credit must be open for at least one year.
Must be within the past 2
years since date of last activity.
Must be reported to credit bureaus.
-
It will take me at least 1 - 2 years to establish new good credit.
-
After 1 year the credit will be
rated and will influence my credit score.
-
After 2 years my credit will
get labeled "solid" by a potential creditor.
-
If I haven't had active, rated,
reported credit, bad or good, in the past 2 years I will have a 0
credit score.
-
Not rated or
reported credit lines:
Rent, phone bill,
electric bill, cable tv, water bill, insurance, doctor medical bills, rent
to own furniture and the like. These show on my report only as a
negative.
Here is a list of possible ways to get
started to new good credit.
-
Get a cosigner. Cosigners are
good for starting new credit but not for overcoming recent or less
than 2 year old bad credit.
-
Have a strong enough provable
job history an no past bad credit history. Apply for any gas card or
credit card.
-
Be almost out of college with
good grades, a certain degree, and a good job lined up. Qualifies for "First Time Buyer" is the lingo.
Go buy a car with some money for at least the taxes. Apply for any
card.
-
Send a cashiers check for
$300.00 to prove your good intent to open any Major Brand gas card
or MasterCard, Visa, Discover.
-
Go to your local banker and
borrow money against your savings account, but make sure they
will report to a bureau before you sign anything. Borrow X dollars
and put the money up. Go into the bank each month and make your
payment with the money you borrowed. Make payments for at least 12
months not a minute less. When you make the final payment go in the
bank again and tell your loan officer you are making your final
payment today and might need some help in the future so THANKS.
