I have a question about my husband and my credit , Last year my husband and i were in the process of buying a house. There were 2 judgments against us that we needed to take care of before we were able to get a lender to give us a loan, so we paid off the two judgments one even going down to the court house and getting a satisfaction of judgment thinking this was going to get it off of our credit or at least show up as paid with in 30 days . To make a long story short my husband lost his job and we were unable to get into the house as planned but now we are back on track and looking to get into a house again . Our lender pulled our credit report again and the judgments were still on there both of them one for 1800.00 and the other for 400 dollars. What can we do here? Im just wondering how many other things are on our credit that have been paid and are still showing up …. We really have no idea what to do and would really like to get our credit back up as quickly as possible. We actually tried to contact the creditor directly and could not speak to anyone directly .It seems ridiculous that as important as credit is to everyone that credit companys can be so lazy and unorganized with our future….
Any advice u can give would be gratefully appreciated!

you need a copy of your credit report yourself so you know what is on your credit
judgements will still show on your reports
they will show as paid but it will still be a judgement which is bad
So Expecting A judgment to come off be removed or be deleted from your credit reported is erroneos. You had bad credit and your report will show that you paid it, but at one time you had bad credit with someone.
