Why isn’t my credit score changing
Four years ago I lost my job of 22 years. it was difficult to replace the income, took me two years of battling through til I finally found a god paying job. We found ourselves deep in debt but didnt want to file bankruptcy. So one by one we are still paying off creditors. We had a car reposessed and a few judgements posted on our credit but we are close to getting back even. We dont have any open credit cards but we did get a car loan 7 months ago and have been ontime each month…..why is my credit score still aat 517 every month, it won’t change. My income is very good but I still can’t get a loan….how can I get my score to move up?

are the car people reporting to bureaus
no open credit means no score change other than going down

Yes, it shows on my credit report that the payments are being made…all 7 payments have been made ontime and show this on my credit report but the same score remains….what am I missing

it takes on year to get a rated credit line
7 months is not ling enough
i would consider another line like a secured credit card that reports use it for twelve months and try to uppgrade
