We are trying to buy a house and discovered my husband’s credit score is 550! It has never been lower than 650. His credit shows 30 days late on a payment for April in the amount of $20 and 30 days late on a payment for May in the amount of $20. The bank is removing both transactions from his credit report due to an oversight on their part. Once this is removed, how much can we expect his score to come up. We will also be paying off this account. The balance is only $280. Any information you can provide or if you could point me in the right direction to find the information I would greatly appreciate it.
