I left my ex husband in 2004 although our divorce was not finalized till 2007, we both signed the divorce degree stating that what is his is his and what is mine is mine, And we are responsible for it. well you see he filled bankruptcy and I have not. I have all of us bills on my credit report including the car that was repossessed after we had filled for divorce. I am aware that I was the co signer but it states that there is a zero balance and was P and L writeoff..
What can I do if anything to help my credit get better and getting the harassing collection calls to stop for his bills.??

That’s something lawyers and Judges Should be more accountable for.
This best thing I know to do is dispute these and say they are not yours and hope
Make sure you get and have new current credit to keep your score up

I am divorced and as a term in the divorce decree my ex-wife was ordered to make mortgage payments on the house we were co-owners of. She currently lives in house. If she misses payments and is behind in payments can I get this off my report?
———————
no you cant
you have to get to to refinance the house to get her off the report

What about asking the reporting financial institution to classify account as “Authorized User” or “On Behalf of Another Person”?
———————–
it will not matter
it will still show on your report
the only way is
