My credit is bad because my wife destroyed it before our divorce

My credit is bad because my wife destroyed it before our divorce.  Now I am trying to rebuild it.  Is that possible?  I heard once you can somehow create a new credit profile somehow.  Other places I hear about prepaid credit cards.  Some say that helps while others say it doesn`t.  Please let me know any info you might have.  Sorry to bother you but any help would be extremely helpful and very much appreciated.

I’m not sure how bad your credit is.

chip away at anything you can and get some active credit with secured cards or anything that will report to bureaus
