I consolidated my credit debt in the year 2001 with a credit consolidating agency. It seems that time passed and my debt never seemed to go down. I got so frustrated because my credit was getting bad and the agency instead of helping me made my issue worse. I decided to file for bankrupcy in 2004 and start fresh. Five years later I receive a letter in the mail stating that the credit agency that I consolidated my debt in 01 has a class action and therefore being sued. Now, if these people would of helped me in the first place I wouldn’t of have to go bankrupt, but anyway should I tell the attorney that is assigned for this class action my situation. I feel they need to know my strory. Do I have to send copies to the credit companies also? You have many sample letters, which one would you recommend me send to the attorney explaining my case. How much info do I mention?

are they not named in the BK? 7 or 13?

It’s chapter 7
But what I’m concerned about is this class action from the consolidting company. They have assigned an attorney. I’m a supposed to tell him that I went bankrupt because of them and maybe I’ll be compensated from being victimized in the past before my bankrupcy?

were they included in your bk
