The appartmant complex I lived in for 2.5 years placed me with collection agency for over $5000 dollars. Before I moved out I give them notise which is signed by manager at the time. (Istill have the note) I returned the keys and left, but they did not take me out of the system until 3-4 months after I moved out. They kept senting me letters for late rent and even invicted me without me knowing that. Once I saw the balance owed on my credit I contacted the collection company. But they did not want even se any documents which could easily prove that I was not there at the time that they charged me for. I trayed to dispute but it was placed back on my credit. Can you please tell me how can I remove them from the report. If I owe them anithing I would sattle with them but I donot ove them not one pany.
