I am trying to rebuild my credit after a divorce and a 9 month lay off…I just received my Experian credit score and it is a dismal 534 I had payments deferred from student loans and credit cards…I already have a Orchard Master Card and I just paid it down below the 79% as well as reopening a another secured card. I have a truck I am doing going to do a pay off in return for a timely payments over the last year…My question is I have paid my rent/lease payments on time even during my layoff (I am working now doing the same job but for a different company) but they are not on my credit report. How do I have these placed on my credit report I am sure it will increase my score, I would like to purchase my condo within the next year…(hopefully sooner) Let me know….

lease purchases are rarely reported to a bureau
unless you are leasing from a large corporation or a subsidiary of some type of corporation
the reason is …… one has to report 500 accounts per month to stay on the role with the bureaus now
as far as a direct report?
I have had this question in the past and have not found a reliable method.
the best thing I know is to use a direct credit reference letter when you apply for credit.
this will not help your score though and this will not help you with many normal creditors that rely on credit scores as a rule.
here is a direct credit reference letter
I guess you could have this filled out
then mail it to the three credit bureaus
and ask for inclusion
