Credit fraud Identity Theft. Choose Identity Guard to stop the crooks.
Most people seem to think either there is no way someone could steal their identity or that anyone can commit credit fraud. There is no real middle ground.
My past experience tells me that credit fraud or identity theft happens very seldom as i get very few questions regarding Identity theft for my credit help web page. The main thing to know is how to stop the credit fraud from spreading quickly by alerting the three credit bureaus that your identity has been stolen or that some one is trying to commit credit fraud with your identity facts.
There are three different types of alerts That I have seen. Extended 7 year alerts, initial 90 day alert and a 1 year alert. It is important to ask for the type alert you wish to have and explain your circumstance to the bureaus. Trans union, Experian, Equifax.
