I have sent certified dispute letters to all three major bureaus 27 days ago from my husband and me. I used the same dispute proof in all three letters because both accounts were joint.I have received responses from transunion and experian and nothing from equifax. I did receive the green card from the mail validating the information being received. Transunion responded by saying the items were deleted. Experian responded by saying that one item on my husbands report was updated as zero balance and the other non existent. But experian told me that the information given was not enough to verify the accounts and it will take 30 to 45 days to verify. 1. How can Experian use the same information I submitted for the both of us, use to update my husbands report but won’t use it to update and delete the same joint information on my report?
2. How long do I wait before the bureaus have to legally delete disputed information that they did not respond to?
——————————
they bureaus give creditors 30 days.
from the date the creditors get the inquiry.
so it could take up to 45 days
I would wait a few more days.
Then i would light experian up.

Failure to comply with these federal regulations by credit reporting agencies are investigated by the Federal Trade Commission (see 15 USC 41, et seq.). Be aware that I am making a final goodwill attempt to have you clear up this matter. You have 15 days to cure.
For your benefit, and as a gesture of my goodwill, I will restate my dispute. The following information needs to be verified and deleted from the report as soon as possible:
